Peacefully at GNGH on January 13th 2012 in his 80th year with his family by his side. Loving husband to Eileen for 55 yrs. Kristen, Katie, Kyle Friesen and great-grandfather to Chad, Christie, Jacob, Lucas Turner.
Brother of Jean Anez, the late Elmer, Audrey Gallen, Ethel (Bert) Watters. Jake is predeceased by his brothers Nelson, Ernie and Ralph Gallen. Jake loved the outdoors, fishing and camping but most of all he loved spending time with hs grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave., Niagara Falls on Tuesday January 17th from 10-12:00 pm a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00pm. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tender Wishes would be appreciated by the family.
