John Hornyak

HORNYAK, Janos "John" - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Diane. Fondly remembered by his children Ilona (David) Perkins, John Hornyak Jr., Connie (Scott) Forster and Brian Hornyak. Dearly missed grandpa of Khalen, Logan Fox and Murdock. John immigrated from Hungary in 1956 as a professional soccer player and retired from Kraft Foods in 2002. He will be remembered by many family and friends in Canada and Hungary. Friends are invited to call the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main Street, visiting Monday 10:00 am - 12:00 noon with the funeral service to follow in the Loretto Chapel. Cremation to follow.
