CARSON, John Jorden - The Carson family is celebrating the long and happy life of John “Jack” Carson, which sadly ended on March 15, 2024, at the age of 93. Jack grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick, raised on a hard-working farm by his parents John Lewis Carson and Eva (nee Robb), alongside his siblings Allan, Charlie, Ralph, Vaughan, Dorothy, Janet and Lillian. He married his caring wife Helen (nee Godfrey) of 72 years and moved to Niagara Falls where he became the proud father of Michael (Mary), David (Peggy) and Danny (Lisa). He worked a long career at GM to provide a wonderful life for his family, who are eternally grateful. In his spare time he was an electrician, plumber, mechanic, carpenter and all round handyman.
Jack enjoyed a long retirement in the company of his grandchildren, Jonathan, Nikolas, Heather (Marton) and Neil (Autumn). He was goofy great-grampy to Delilah, and his soon-to-be-born great-granddaughter will hear many stories about his shenanigans. Jack enjoyed country music like Stompin' Tom, crokinole, scrabble, puzzles, and teasing his family and the squirrels in his backyard.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Patterson Funeral Home. In memory of Jack, donations can be made directly to The Canadian Cancer Society, and would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences are welcome at pattersonfuneralhome.com
