John 'Jack' Hopkins

HOPKINS, John 'Jack' - Passed away peacefully, after a long, courageous battle, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of the late Lydia Hopkins (2014). Dearly loved father of Jacqueline (Dan) Beaton and Fred (Yvonne) Hopkins. Cherished grandfather of Danielle and Angela Beaton and Colin Hopkins. Survived by his sister-in-law Resi Clarke, brother-in-law Mario (Eleanor) Galliera. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Leona Hopkins, his brother Harry Hopkins, his sister Janet (the late Frank) Zaniol, his parents-in-law Angelo and Rita Galliera, and his brother-in-law Esidoro (Murielle) Galliera. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME , 6062 Main St. visiting Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mr. Hopkins donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Salvation Army would be appreciated by his family.
