SEBASTIAN, John - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday January 14, 2015 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of 70 years to Mary (Dolha) Sebastian. Dearly loved and devoted father of Jerry (Valerie) Sebastian, Muriel Lynch (Rolly Miljus), Frances McGarry (Fred Copfer), Bob Sebastian (Cathy Wickabrod), Ronald Sebastian (Nancy Sheridan), Caroline (Vincent) Campaner, Alan (Julia) Sebastian, Tammy (Tom) Warman and Lisa (Dave) Falardeau. Cherished Grandpa of Denise, Brett, Jeremy, Jeff, Jennifer, Aaron, Rachel, John, David and Alicia Sebastian, Michael Lynch, Ryan Miljus, Natalie and Sean Sirianni, Mark, Kevin and Morgan Campaner, Paul and Shanna Graham and Jacob Falardeau. Lovingly remembered by his ten great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Frank, Tilly, Kathy and Gladys. Dear brother-in-law of Anne DiBattista, Bill (Doris) Dohla, Frank (Carmen) Dohla, Ellen Warren (Bruce) and Andy (Helga) Dohla. Predeceased by his brothers Alec and George, his sisters Anne, Velma, Marge and Sophie and his brothers-in-law Alec DiBattista and Jack Warren. Mr. Sebastian enjoyed a distinguished career as a train engineer with the CNR retiring after 39 years of dedicated service. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mr. Sebastian donations to The Pathstone Foundation or the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by his family.
