John William Nixon

NIXON, John William - Passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Wednesday September 25, 2013. Predeceased by his wife Marion (2008). Loving father of Karen (Lee) Kuilboer of Sudbury, and "Kinder Egg" grandpa to Bronwynn and Ophelia. Survived by his sister Lorna Jenkinson of Caledon and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Les. John will be sadly missed by his special cousin Owen, his extended family, and his many special friends. John is reunited with his beloved wife, driving around in his new blue Ford F-150 pickup. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (785 Warner Road, St. David's, Ontario). A private family interment will follow. In memory of John, donations may be made to the Walker Family Regional Cancer Centre or Douglas Memorial Hospital and would be appreciated by his family.
