Joseph 'Joe' McInally Hennessy

HENNESSY, Joseph "Joe" McInally, born in Dundee, Scotland. (February 11, 1933 - April 22, 2023)- It is with deep sadness we announce the  peaceful passing of Joe at Bella Senior Care on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband and best friend of Betty for 67 years. Dearly loved father of Lorraine (Rob) Clocherty and Graeme Hennessy. Cherished Papa of Nicole, Jaclyn Serra  (Matt Rundle) and Janine (Dave) Sedgwick and great-grandfather of Nathaniel and Hailey.  Predeceased by his beloved family members Joan, Bill and Duncan Ritchie. Joe loved all of the various sports he played right up until last fall. He  had been an avid member of the YMCA and the MacBain Center where he was well known to many. He was also a member of  Niagara Falls Lawn Bowling Club and enjoyed playing tennis and Scottish country dancing. He was also an active parishioner of St. Thomas More Church. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Joe, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
