KLEIN, Julius - After a wonderful long life, Julius died with peace, love and family by his side Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. He now joins his Schatz, Lydia who went before him Easter 2009. Left to celebrate his legacy are his children Marcus (Linda), Ingrid Balinski (John), Eva (Guy) and Kurt (Robin); and his grandchildren Lucas (Wrae), Eric (Eden) and Julia Hodgson. Predeceased by grandson McLean Hodgson (2000). Born in Nagybrzsny "Deutschpilsen", Hungary on April 15, 1923 to parents Katalin and Marton Klein and siblings Marton, Katalin, Karl and Geza. Much loved uncle to family in Canada, Hungary, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Julius emigrated to Niagara Falls in 1951 and married Lydia Klassus in 1952, where they united with strength, determination and dedication to their family, community and one another. They founded a successful home construction company Klein Developments Limited which continues to flourish today. Family will receive friends at PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, L2G 5Z9 on Thursday, December 27, 2012, 7-9 p.m. and Friday, December 28, 2012, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, 5645 Morrison St., Niagara Falls, L2E 2E8, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery.
