Peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Valley Park Lodge. Predeceased by her loving husband Leon, of 65 years. Sadly missed by her children: Linda (Jim) Parkhill, Ruth Corr and Stephen (Leona) Corr. Beloved grandmother to Aaron (Shelly) Parkhill, Corrie Lyn Parkhill, Lindsay (Eric) Peters, Braeden Corr, and Ashton Corr. Great-grandmother of Austin and Elowyn. Dear sister of Betty (the late Hartley) Adair, Lelia (the late Jim) Custodio, Bob (the late Maxine) Douthwright, the late Lex (the late Meta) Davis, the late Les (the late Audrey) Davis, and the late Wilma (the late John) Harkness. Predeceased by her parents Edson and Marion Davis. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
June enjoyed running her own little antique business called “Looking Back”, with Leon following his retirement. They both enjoyed spending their summers at their trailer at Muskoka Bible Centre in Huntsville. June cherished all the time she could spend with her grandchildren and could always be found with a jigsaw puzzle on the go at any given time.
A very special thank you to the Dr. Dec, Susan, as well as the doctors, nurses, and PSW’s at both Lundy Manor and Valley Park Lodge for their exceptional care of June during her time spent with them.
In keeping with June’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at The Gate Alliance Church (the Abide Café), 6009 Valley Way, Niagara Falls. A Celebration of June’s life will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations to Operation Smile Canada, Rick Rose Music Foundation or The Gate Short Term Missions would be appreciated by the family.
