Kenneth 'Ken' Watson

WATSON, Kenneth 'Ken' - It is with profound sadness and breaking hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved PoppaBear Ken, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.  After years of suffering with debilitating Crohn's Disease, our Lord decided to end Ken's pain and embrace him into the eternal warmth and happiness of Heaven.  Ken can now drink all the beer he wants, eat all the peanuts he wants and play endless rounds of golf - all without getting tired or cold.  Left with the beautiful memories of this dear, gentle man is his beloved wife of 30 years, Jackie, his children Alexyia and Myles, who have always been the light of his life.  Ken will also be lovingly remembered by his father-in-law Pat, brother-in-law Patrick James 'PJ', brother Allan Watson and by all of his family and friends, especially Stu, Murray and Sal.  Predeceased by his parents Allan and Kathleen and his mother-in-law JoanAnne.  For the past 30 years, Ken has gained a reputation for his hard work, integrity and honesty within the electrical industry.  He will be greatly missed at Gerrie Electric, where, for the past 15 years, he has taken great pride in servicing his customer base.  Ken has touched the lives of many and will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all those whom he met.  Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Friday 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 pm.  Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 1 pm at Our Lady of the Scapular Church.  Cremation will follow with the Rite of Committal at a later date.  In memory of Ken, memorial contributions may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Canada, and would be appreciated by his family.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
