Predeceased by his loving wife Francine. Sadly missed by his children, Diane (Randy) Cockhead, Beverly Bayes, Doug (Sheila) Littlewood, Karen Littlewood, Darl McCallum, and Deborah (Pat) Vescio. Beloved grandfather to 17 and great-grandfather to 18.
Also sadly missed by his siblings, George (Carol) Littlewood, Diane (the late Gerry) Schultz, Gord (Jeri) Littlewood as well as many nieces and nephews.
Red is predeceased by his parents George and Jennie Littlewood.
Red retired from Hayes Dana as an inspector and enjoyed many years of service as an active member of the St. Davids Lions Club and was inducted into the Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame in Baseball. He was also an avid hockey goalie for the industrial leagues.
Friends and family will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Tuesday January 21,2025 from 10:00am-11:00am. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. An interment will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Queenston Street in St. Catharines on Monday January 27th at 10:00am where his shared remains will be laid to rest with his late wife Francine; those wishing to attend are asked to please meet at the main Queenston Street gates. A second interment will take place following at 11:00am at Fairview Cemetery on Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls where he will be laid to rest with his parents. Those wishing to attend are asked to please meet at the Stanley Avenue gates.
