Passed away quietly at his home on December 31, 2016 at the age of 57 years. Loving father of Courtney De Witt (John) and Brock Francis (Melinda); and grandfather of Anndrea, Haidyn, Owen, Qwyn, & Charleigh. Beloved son of Ken & Gerry Francis. Dear brother of Christine Parlee (Gene). Fondly remembered by his niece Jenni and nephew Cliff, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be missed by his buddy, his dog Rex. Kevin enjoyed hockey, hockey and hockey supporting his favourite teams including: Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa 67's, and the Niagara Ice Dogs. When not at a hockey game, he could always be found with his friends at Perry's Place on McLeod Rd.
Cremation has taken place. Family & friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 1 - 2 PM at which time a celebration of life service will be held in the chapel at 2 PM. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
