We were tourists walking on River Road going towards downtown when we noticed the flowers and messages of sympathy by the tree with Kyle's name. We said a quiet prayer and continued our journey. When we got home, we checked the internet (wonderful technology) to find out what happened. We cried after reading the news. 
This tragedy not only touched those who knew him, but strangers passing by.

Kyle was honestly, the most kind-hearted, down to earth, loved life. He's the most amazing person I have ever met in my life. Not being able to see him anymore, to hear his laugh, to see his smile.There's just so many memories of him, I've known him for about 13 years...He and my brother were best friends. We were lucky to have him part of our family. We love you and miss you very much K1!!!!<3

I am sorry for your losses, and i myself am hit with this tragedy, he was a good friend to all, and will be deeply missed.

From the moment we first met we had the perfect brother sister relationship, him smacking me right across the face because our mother was holding me and he was jealous is a perfect example. Since my brother and I were so close in age we did pretty much everything together like taking the books off the book shelve and making make believe land all over his bedroom floor for an army man fight, going on adventures through the forest where we camped every summer and building a tree fort to mark our land, and playing lava tag and hide and go seek in the dark when my mom was not home. My brother looked out for me and warned all the men in my life to watch themselves, he protected me when I was scared or in danger and we would always tell each other everything. I'm gonna miss him bugging me for rides, and hearing his music blaring and him singing along to it. I'm glad to of had him as a brother and I will always love him.

theres too much to say about kyle to put into one. he was amazing, caring, generous, full-hearted and nothing but a great person. anything you needed, kyle did his best to get it :) I knew him most of my life, but only got this past two months to really get to know him. Thats all it took, was those two months. Everybody loved him no matter what he did. We couldn't bring ourselves to be mad at him no matter what.  He always knew how to put a smile on my face :) He helpmed me through alot of the tears and heart-aches. I Just wish he could help me through these ones. He taught me how to live and forget. Never to hold a grudge because it's not worth your time. Love no matter what. I could go on and on for days about Kyle, thats just how amazing of a person he was. It's sad to see such a good guy get taken away from all his friend who loved him more than anything. But like they, only the good die young. and kyle was too good. Too good for a world like this. He's up there waiting for us and saving us a spot :) We love and miss you tons Kyle. Wish I would've had more time with you. R.I.P homie :) keep it wickeeed!

We met Kyle only once at his aunt Sharon's birthday party in Sutton, Ontario last summer.  "Kyle, you will be very missed".
