Lazar Skorupan

May 5, 1932 – February 13, 2022

Lazar Skorupan passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his family. He spent the last year of life living with his Son and family in Saskatchewan. He is predeceased by his wife, Helena Skorupan, nee Turk, of 56 years(2019).

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, his life’s focus was always to provide a comfortable life for his family.  He achieved this with hard work, building relationships, and with wit and humor.  He shared his wealth readily, assisting many family members to immigrate to Canada. 

Left to grieve are his son Branko (Katherine) Skorupan and Janet Skorupan (Don Pine); Grandchildren Sara (Steven) Bishop, Landan, Anika and Melissa (Brereton) Clarke with great grandson Matrix

Friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Fairway cemetery, Maple St. entrance, Niagara Falls, Ontario, July 18th, 2:00pm. Followed by food, refreshment and visiting at Knights of Columbus Hall, 7020 Stanley Ave.
