After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 70 years of age. Sadly missed by her children, Cheryl Ann Meli (Rozell), and Rick Rozell (Rhonda). Forever loved by her grandchildren Shanda, Steven, Chelsea, and Sarah. She is survived by her brother Philip Miron. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Luccienne Horth and Noella Drew; and by her parents William and Alice Miron. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Hughes and his staff for their compassion and care.
Family and friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Ave on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
