Maria Grazia Plati

PLATI, Maria Grazia - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at the age of 80.  Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Plati (2007).  Dearly loved mother of Nick (Terri-Lynne) Plati, Sam Plati, Joanne Ross (Albert Petti), Antoinetta (John) Markel and Elisabetta (Tony) DiPaola.  Cherished Nonna of Melissa, Brian, Nicholas, Victoria, Johnny, Anthony, Vito and Nicholas and Bisnonna of Dallas.  Dear sister of Santa Zappavigna, Antoinetta (Antonio) Leone, Gary (Debbie) Cirillo and Dominic (Cindy) Cirillo and sister-in-law of Rose Cirillo and Nellie Cirillo.  She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents Graziano and Maria Grazia Cirillo, her sisters Elisabetta DeStefano and her husband Antonio, and Angela Allan and her husband Doug, brothers Vito Cirillo, Joe Cirillo and Frank Cirillo and her brother-in-law Paul Zappavigna.  Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday 7 to 9 pm and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at St. Ann's Church.  The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.  In memory of Mrs. Plati, donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetes Canada or The Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by her family.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
