Marie 'Jean' Dal Bello

DAL BELLO, Mary 'Jean' (nee Zamprogna) -  March 25, 1933 - September12, 2023. Devoted wife of the late (2003) Delchi 'Dick' Dal Bello, loving mother to Joanne (Scott) Watson and Richard (Susan McIntosh) and beloved "Nonni" to Rachel Maria Dal Bello.   Those who knew Jean, and there were many, knew that she was passionate about whatever she endeavored. She was a fierce mother and an adoring " Nonni".  Jean was an excellent seamstress, milner, cook, baker, GNGH volunteer...you name it! Whatever she put her mind to she devoted 100% and that included her friendships.  Predeceased by her parents Abramo and Maria (Castellani) Zamprogna, siblings Teresa Campigotto, Louie Zamprogna, Julie Philp, Nino Zamprogna, and in-laws Willie Campigotto, Don Philp, Hannah Zamprogna, Serno Dal Bello and Lorraine Dal Bello.  Jean is survived by sister Gloria (Emilio) Marconato, sisters-in-law Lucy Zamprogna, Gloria (late Mike) Machacek and Hazel DalBello as well as many nieces, nephews, God children and very special friends Gloria Pietrobon and Lois Hyrtle.Thank you to Dr Crane and the excellent staff at St Joseph's at Fleming (Peterborough) and long time family friend Lesley Steward-Pichette. Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of Jean's life will take place at a later date and will be lead by nephew Fr. Michael Machacek. Those wishing to acknowledge Jean are welcome to donate to the Niagara Health Foundation - It's our future campaign , the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
