Marie Marguerite Pouliot (nee Turcotte)

POULIOT, Marie Marguerite (nee Turcotte) - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday September 8, 2017 at the age of 98.  Beloved wife of the late Lionel (1990).  Dearly loved mother of Gaetan (Marlene) Pouliot of Ottawa, Louise (Ernie) Hall of Niagara Falls, Suzanne (Scott) Jones of Sault Ste Marie, Gisele (Jim) Blair of Niagara Falls, Marc (Diane) Pouliot of Niagara Falls and the late Guy Pouliot (1958).  Cherished grandmother of Ernie, Michael, Darryl, Daniel, Kimberley, Micheline,  Stephanie, Tara, Crystal, Julie and  Jimmy.  Dear great-grandmother of 24. Bonne amie of the late Leo Gingras.  She is survived by her siblings Fleurette, Normande, Pauline, Lorraine Jean Roch (Sheila) and Maurice and her sisters-in-law Brenda and Mary.  Predeceased by her brothers Lucien, Lionel, Benoit, Gilles, Gabriel, Real and in-laws Aurore, Marie Yvonne, May, Louise, Yvonne, Lucien, Clarence Maurice and Jean Marie. She will be lovingly remembered by many family members and friends.  Former owner of Leo's Grocery, Niagara Falls.   Marie wanted to make sure that the following people were thanked for her care; Megan from St. Elizabeth and her team, the many PSW's who helped her, as well as all the staff from River Road Retirement Residence and Pere Bill for his many visits, blessings and encouragement.  Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to call at St. Antoine de Padoue Church, 4570 Portage Rd. visiting Thursday 10 am to 11 am.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.  In memory of Marie, memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Heart Niagara or The Canadian Cancer Society, and would be appreciated by her family.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
