HALE, Marilyn Jean (nee Cook) - Passed away peacefully at Niagara Long Term Care, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Monday July 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late James 'Jim' (2010). Cherished mother of Allison (Jesse) Eliaz and loving grandmother of Nathaniel Eliaz. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Don (Max) Cook, as well as her niece Sheila (Arthur) Ward, nephew Doug Weir (Shari Connor), niece Susan Weir. Special great-aunt to Lindsay, Brock, Rachel, Rebecca and Kerri. Predeceased by her parents Arthur Reid and Jean (nee Young) Cook, as well as sister-in-law Clara (Jack) Weir. Marilyn worked for Royal Bank of Canada for over 30 years. She loved to travel and make cards, and will be remembered as someone who was loving, had a wide circle of great friends, was always 'on the go' and very active. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday July 23, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held at 4 pm at the funeral home.
