Passed away at her home on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 76 years of age. Loving wife of the late Cecil Hitchcock (2000). Dear mother of Bradley Hitchcock, Sandra Hodgson, Cindy Osborne, and Marion Hitchcock. Sadly missed by her 20 grandchildren, and by her many great-grandchildren & great great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Sandra Montgomery(Roger) and Helen Ziegler(late husband Floyd). Mary will be remembered for her caring nature, lending a hand to anyone who needed help, and for her love of Sunday night bingo. Her family would like to thank the staff of the St. Catherines Hospital Site and the Walker Family Cancer Centre, and Dr. Radhika Yelamanchili for their compassionate care.
Family & friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Acton, ON. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
