Her love for people shone through in every gathering every conversation, and every small act of kindness. She had an extraordinary gift when it came to people-an uncanny ability to perceive their true character and connect with them in a meaningful way. Particularly impressive were her interactions with young adults, several decades her junior, whom she cherished as exceptional individuals. The relationship she experienced with 'extended family' Janie and Alan Gouck was heartwarming and their contributions to her ongoing comfort and care will never be forgotten. Mary had a true passion for playing cards-especially euchre and bridge-and was an enthusiastic member of several card groups where she formed lasting friendships.
