Mary Carol Thompson

Mary Carol Hazel (Warner) Thompson, known as Carol, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at 79 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, surrounded by family. She was a devoted mother to Kathryn, Kara, Robyn, and Melissa, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Carol is remembered by her sister, Linda, and, brothers Jimmy and Brian, as well as extended family and friends.

A faithful Catholic, she actively served in the St. Vincent de Paul Society and various church groups, dedicating herself to helping others. Carol found joy in nature and treasured time with loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Patterson Funeral Home, (6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario), on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Scapular Church, (6557 Thorold Stone Road, Niagara Falls, Ontario) on January 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass, a committal service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery (1900 Thompson Road, Fort Erie, Ontario) at 11:45 a.m. A reception will be held at reception at The Barrel (224 Garrison Rd, Fort Erie, Ontario) from 12:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Project SHARE, a local food bank serving families in Niagara Falls and the surrounding community, in loving memory of Carol Thompson. Carol will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, compassion, unwavering faith, and boundless love. May she find rest in the eternal embrace of our Blessed Mother and her Son, Jesus Christ.
