SHANAHAN, Patricia Joan - Passed away at Welland County General Hospital on Saturday March 16, 2013 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of 57 years to Leo Shanahan. Dearly loved mother of Joseph Daniel, Thomas (Sonya), John (Tammy), Mark and the late Michael Shanahan (1958). Cherished grandmother of Richard, Elizabeth, Caitlin, Matthew and Ashley. Dear sister of Alice (Stephen) Dajka and the late Ellen (Thomas) Roesch and sister-in-law of Pat (Francis) Patterson and Rita (the late Ray) Page. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Patricia worked as the Planning Secretary at Port Colborne City Hall for a number of years. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence St. Port Colborne. The Vigil for Patricia will be celebrated Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mount St. Joseph's Cemetery, Port Colborne.
