With sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Agnes Miner on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in her 87th year. Devoted wife of 65 years to the late Bert Miner. Loving mother of Ruth (Wayne) Penner. Pauline took great joy in her two granddaughters; Anna (James) Dixon and Tatiana Willms. She was a great-grandma to Layne and Robert Dixon. Born in Nova Scotia, Pauline worked for many years as a book keeper. Pauline was an excellent homemaker taking joy and pride in cooking for and hosting her family and friends. Through the years, she always remained a proper lady. We wish to thank Reverend Father Gerard Power O’Carm and Ethel O'Brien from St. Patrick Church for their visits, as well as the staff at Valley Park Lodge for their tender care towards Pauline.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 4673 Victoria Ave. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. A Rite of Committal will take place for both Bert and Pauline at Fairview Cemetery following the Mass. If desired, memorial donations to St. Patrick Church, Lundy Manor, Recreation Fund or Valley Park Lodge, Recreation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
