ANDREANA, Pietro - Passed away peacefully at the Marotta Family Hospital with his loving family by his side on Saturday August 16, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved father of Emily (Giovanni) Del Priore and Peter Andreana. Cherished Nonno of Alexia, Gianluca Del Priore and Anthony, Lucy Andreana. Lovingly survived by his sister-in-law Jean (Pino) Baldo and will be deeply missed by his close friends especially Vincenzina and Vito Lombardo. Predeceased by his parents Gerardo and Gerolama (nee Petronella) Andreana, sisters Emilia Andreana and Immacolata (Sam) Palumbo. Pietro was a self-employed Barber and owner of Senator Unisex hair salon in the Northend Plaza, St. Catharines, known not only for his skill with the clippers but for the warmth and charisma he brought to every conversation. A passionate lover of music, he also had a particular fondness for Western movies, Italian cards and wine making. The magic of Christmas was special to him, he especially loved the lights, the glitter and the warmth of the season. It wasn't just about the decorations, it was about the joy of spending time with family and friends. Travel was a big part of his life, with annual trips to Cuba and Italy. Above all, he shared an extraordinary bond with his mother, a relationship that shaped the man he was. A dedicated single father, he worked tirelessly to provide for his children, instilling in them the value of hard work, pride and resilience. He was a man who truly loved life, he found joy in laughter and spending time with friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses on Unit 3A for their exceptional compassion, empathy and devoted care during their father's final days. Their kindness and professionalism brought great comfort and will always be remembered with deep appreciation. Friends and acquaintances are invited to join the family at Patterson Funeral home, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Thursday August 21, 2025 from 6 pm to 9 pm. A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 22, 2025 at 11:00am with entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
