VanNOORT, Ria Elizabeth - It is with broken-hearted sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear daughter Ria on Saturday August 20, 2022 at the young age of 33. She was the loving mother of Mayla and most loving companion of Kyle Biloski, with whom she resided in Canfield, Ontario. She will be very dearly missed by her Mom and Dad, Sharon and Robert and by her close siblings Bryanne and Joe Tedesco, Dan and Alyssa VanNoort, David and Carolyn VanNoort and Eric VanNoort and his girlfriend Cara Freeman. She was the cherished Aunt of Cora, Ruby, Rhylin, Brady and Jase. She will be dearly missed by Mayla’s Grammy B and Grumpy, Sandy and Noel Biloski and Dan Biloski, Kyle's brother. She will also be truly missed by her Oma Rita VanNoort (the late Harry, 2016) and Nana Shirley MacIsaac (the late Hugh, 1981) and many aunts and uncles and cousins whose lives she had touched and connected with and shared many memories. Ria was truly a free spirit who had a vast network of connections through work, friends and family that she had built over many years. She was always reaching out and will be dearly missed by many. She was a skilled horsewoman and trainer and also a specialist in dog care and training . She had a wealth of knowledge in these areas and carried this further by studying for and becoming a paramedic where she could be a front line worker to help people. She loved to fish and hunt and to be out on the water on a personal watercraft and was not afraid to jump on the back of a sportbike for a spirited ride. She had persevered through many years of studying and learning while caring for her daughter and finally found her dream job, met the man she loved and was experiencing true happiness in her life which makes her loss so much more painful. We thank the Lord for all the years that we had with Ria and everything that she has given us and we are all committed to look after her daughter Mayla in her absence and to keep Ria’s spirit alive in our hearts for as long as we live. May the Lord be with her. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday August 26, 2022 from 5 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 am at St. Patrick's Church. Cremation will follow.
