Ron Desson

DESSON, Ronald 'Ron' - Passed away after a lengthy illness, with his family at his side, at Chippawa Creek at Bella Senior Care Residence on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at the age of 84. Cherished husband of 38 years to Sandra Plumb. Cherished father of Darren Desson, Ronnie Desson Jr., Billy Desson and loving grandfather of Denzel. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Sonny (the late Carol) Desson, Bobby (Betty) Desson, Mac (Linda) Desson, sister Jayne Ann Kitney, mother-in-law Olive Plumb, sister-in-law Jennifer Plumb, nephew and Godson Daniel Plumb, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Helen (nee Warner) Desson, brothers Bruce Desson, Carmen Desson, Billy Desson, father-in-law Bill Plumb, brother-in-law Phillip Plumb. Ron was an avid sportsman, enjoying Hockey, baseball, hunting and fishing. He worked at General Motors, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care received by Ron during his stay at Chippawa Creek at Bella Senior Care. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Monday November 7, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 1 pm at the funeral home, with cremation to follow.
