Passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the age of 95. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy née Julie (1973). He is survived by His daughter, Kim Roels Scott (John, predeceased) of Sacramento, CA and his son, Randy Edward (Deborah Chatreau) of Tweed, Ontario
Ron dedicated 47 years of his life as a photographer for the Niagara Falls Review and served as a past president of the Stamford Lions Club. In retirement, he enjoyed golfing, home gardening, listening to blues music, and sharing life with his wonderful neighbor and best friend, Dorothy Doyle, for 25 years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hetherington & Deans Funeral Home & Chapel. In honor of Ron’s memory, donations can be made to the Niagara Health Foundation.
