Rest easy now sweet angel.my grandmother rose Shields .aka.GG ,grandma ,mother sister auntie so many different titles for so many different lives u have touched in ur 88years in this world.but out of all those lives u blessed and touched i think my life was the most impacted with love, laughter ,stories and memories that i will carry on in my thoughts forever .grandma was always a big part if my life.whether she and grandpa lived in calgary with us as kids .goin to everyone one of my hockey games screaming at the ref wen I was hit or tripped on the ice banging that cow bell around till people around her on the bleachers were def lol.or in ontario with my aunt uncles and other grandkids.but wen I moved to ontario I felt that our bond although was unbreakable began to grow stronger and stronger especially after grandpa jack(john)passed away.and although I know ur up there with grandpa in a better place not suffering .my heart still breaks at the loss of our special connection that only sum get to experience with someone if not once in their lives .I love u grandma and will always look up wen anything good happens in my life. cause ill know it was u and grandpa looking down and being the best god darn guardian angels a soul could ever ask for .I got to say my goodbye to u in ur final hours and tell u how grateful i was to of had u as a grandma .not that I had to cause u already knew that .but saying it was lasttime and seeing u sit up and smile may be the last, but best memory I'll ever have. Make sure u got lots of cinnamon buns ready wen I get there .always in my thoughts and prayers. Love ur grandson.jonathan xo

Oh Grandma....you are probably cursing me right now for posting this picture but nevermind the hair and look at our smiles! Our attempt to break you out of the hospital. So close. We almost made it with security on our tails! BUT you needed to swing by Tim's for your coffee and donut. We only made it to the parking lot but laughing so hard it hurt...but we tried!! I miss your smile. I miss your laugh. I miss you. I will never forget our last attempt at a great escape! I may not have you by my side but I will always have you in my heart. I love you Grandma. Always and Forever.

I have so many great memories and fun times with you , just don’t know where to start. From growing up at your house sitting around your kitchen table laughing and laughing. You always made us feel so welcome . Not only then but also later in life always putting a smile on our faces I could always talk you into having a wee drink 🍸 with me. These memories will always be cherished Such a beautiful lady inside and out
You will truly be missed ❤️ 😢

Will miss this beautiful lady who had a heart of gold, and treated me like one of her own kids. Always ready for a big hug and a good laugh. She cared deeply for her family and even had concern for her children's friends and their families. She took many of us under her wing and loved us, and we felt that love.It was an honour to have her in my life. She will be dearly missed.God bless.

My Beautiful Auntie Rose--So full of Spunk, Love & Laughter!! As a little guy, she'd be just as likely to wrestle me down & tickle me to death one minute as cuddling & kissing my skinned knee the next. I'll never forget Auntie Rose--Love Forever........Barry
