Beloved husband of 48 years to Rita (nee Santangelo). Cherished father of Michael (Holly), Nicholas (Anne), Louise (Fouad) ElNaggar, loving Nonno of Dante, Elijah, Amelia and Papa of Osiris, Apollonia, Toci, Luna. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Donato (Cathy) Pietrangelo, Victor (Danielle) Pietrangelo, Mary Di Carlo, Carmela Pietrangelo and Nadia Pietrangelo. Cherished brother-in-law to John (Edmay) St. Angelo, Michael St. Angelo and Carolyn Ladas, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Sal worked for Niagara Falls Hydro for over 30 years as a Stores Keeper. He was an unforgettable, kind, selfless, hard-working and giving individual. Sal was 'that guy' - the one you would go to if you needed anything. He was so resourceful that his motto was 'if it's free, it's for me.' As the biggest, fun-loving kid of all, he was great for playing pranks and was a jokester who loved to make you laugh. Sal was very athletic, he played and coached many sports. Above all, family and friends were everything to him. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday February 7, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday February 8, 2023 at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Sal, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Centre) or Project Share, and would be appreciated.
