Samuel Gary Muscato

We are heartbroken to announce that Gary passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Gary is now reunited in eternity with his beloved wife Carol (nee Hilston), who predeceased him in 2013. Loving father (Pops) of Gary and his wife Julia. Proud grandfather of Alex and Alyssa, who meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by his brother Frank and his wife Karen and sister Patti and her late husband Barry, also by his nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents; Frank and Leola, his nieces; Carrie, Maralee, Denise and nephew David. He will be forever remembered by the Muscato, Hilston and Gizzie families, his best friend Vic and cherished companion Patricia. Gary dedicated over 40 years of service to the Niagara Region. He was a lifelong fan of horse racing, he truly loved the ponies, and he enjoyed many trips to Florida with family and friends. Our deepest gratitude to our cousin Fr. Derek Pedersen, for his heartfelt prayers that brought us comfort and peace. The family extends their sincere thanks to the Niagara Falls Fire Department Volunteer Fire Station 4, paramedics, and Niagara Regional Police for their exceptional care and compassion.
