Peacefully at Bella Senior Care Residence, Niagara Falls, on Wednesday December 21, 2011, in his 91st year. Samuel Topping, beloved husband of the late Helen (LeDrew) Topping. Dear father of Tim Topping and his wife Nancy, Jim Topping and his wife Cheryl. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Topping was a veteran of WW II serving in the Royal Navy aboard the battleship HMS Renown. He retired from Kodak Canada after 23 years service. For more than 40 years Sam enjoyed singing as a Barbershop Musician.
Cremation has taken place. The service of Interment will take place at Riverside and Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Etobicoke, Ontario at a later date.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the Staff of Bella Senior Care Residence for their care and compassion for Sam. Special thanks to Mary Morton for her friendship and companionship.
Cremation and private funeral services were held on Friday December 23, 2011, from the funeral chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave.
