Shirley Reece

In her 78th year, quietly passed away in the loving arms of her family on March 18, 2012. Much loved and loving mother of Ed Reece (Joanna), Tom Reece (Maggie) and Paul Reece (Leslie). Shirley resided in Hamilton and was predeceased by husband Thomas Arnold Reece and son Bob Reece (Sandra). Shirley is survived by her sister Pauline Evans (Don) and Carol Young (Bob). She was also a wonderful grandmother to 7 grandchildren: Ryan, Amanda, Shawna, Cory, Kyle, Brittany, and Robert; and was excited to know one great grandchild was on the way.

Shirley is resting at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls where family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7- 9 PM. A memorial service will be held at the graveside at Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, at 1 o’clock on Thursday, March 22, 2012; those wishing to attend are directed to arrive at the funeral home for 12:30 PM for a departure to the cemetery at 12:45 PM. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
