Stanley Lemon

Passed away peacefully in caring hands at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby on November 25, 2011 after bravely dealing with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig Disease) and Parkinson’s Disease. Dearly loved companion of Caryl Upper. Dear father of Dennis (Kari) of Barrie, and David (Carmin) of Coquitlam, BC. Cherished grandfather of Rachael, Courtney, and Connor. Dear brother of Tom (Betty) and the late Margaret Pressé. He is survived by Virginia Lemon, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Stan was a salesman at Ray James Appliances for 40 years and will be missed by many friends and customers.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Wednesday, November 30 from 7 – 9 pm, and from 11 am – 1 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2011. A service of remembrance will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1 o’clock. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association or Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.
