Thomas Arthur Balkwill

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tom at the age of 80, in the comfort of his home, on Thursday, October 10, 2019. Loving husband of Dorothy (nee Allan) for 57 wonderful years. Dear father of Susan Feren (Willie), Tammy Eborall (Clay), and JoAnne Haskell (Rob). Proud grandfather of Timothy, Corey & Shelby, Jake, Hannah & Paige, Ross, Sophie & Grace. Great grandfather of Jaxson and River. He will be fondly remembered by nieces, extended family and friends.

Tom was born and raised in Niagara Falls. He was very active in his youth and well known for his love of hockey. Tom was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his great grandchildren. After Tom retired, he loved spending time outside in his pool and in his garden.

Family will receive friends at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 5-8 PM. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
