Thomas William Hartley

Born August 18, 1921, Passed away in his 89th year at GNGH, on Saturday May 8, 2010. Thomas was the devoted husband of Elizabeth since 1943. He served as Lance Corporal with the “GGHG” in Italy and Europe during WWII. He was the beloved father of Leighton (Barbara) and Marybeth (Brent). Grandfather of Jamie (Lucy) Jeremey (Shawna) and Jeffrey (Anna) and Jonathan (Jill), Christopher (Lauren) and Rebekah (Josh). Great grandfather of Kaia, Rowan, Beckham, Alexander, Bailey, Sophie, Annabelle, and Hailey. Thomas displayed his faithfulness to his Saviour by being a supportive patriarch and diligent worker. He spent his every waking moment thinking of others. He will be missed by all. Absent from the body, Present with the Lord.

Resting at the funeral Chapel of HETHERINGTON AND DEANS, 5176 Victoria Ave. where the family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 12, 2010, at 11 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery. In Memoriam contributions to Heart and Stroke Foundation, World Vision or Trillium Gift of Life would be appreciated.
