Beloved husband of Chrissie for the last 62 years, loving father of Kenneth (Marion), Murdo (Maiko), Christine (John), George (Britney). Proud grandpa to Colin, Emily, Alex (Ailbhe), Kyle (Madison), Lauren, Ian, Sean, and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents, Isabella and Thomas Moore, and his sister Elsie. Missed by his sister Jessie in Australia and brother- in-law Stewart in Scotland, nieces and nephews in Australia and Scotland, along with many close cousins in Canada and Scotland.
Tommy grew up in the beautiful village of Plockton, Scotland, before emigrating with Chrissie to Canada at the age of 21. He loved their frequent trips home to Scotland where many happy memories were had. Having lived in Chippawa for 52 years, Tommy loved this village too, especially because of the lifelong friendships made there. Tommy worked for the St. Catharines Transit for many years, where he earned the nickname “Speedy”, as he had won the transit safe driver award several years in a row. He loved Canada; and would often be heard saying “What a country” in gratitude for what Canada had given him.
He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
