Umberto Spinosa

SPINOSA, Umberto - Passed away peacefully at his residence, with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 64 years to Vincenza (nee Guglielmi) and loving father to Massimo Spinosa, Rosanna Lauder, Burt (Charlene) Spinosa and Rick Spinosa. Cherished Nonno to Elicia Lauder (Greg Laszlok), Lucas (Katie) Spinosa, Mckayla Spinosa, Zac Spinosa, Arley Spinosa, Kristy Bell and Bisnonno to Mac. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Teresa (Luigino) Dall'Ara. Umberto was a baker by trade that he learned in Italy and mastered in Canada. He will be remembered for his amazing chocolate scarpone and his New Year's Day lasagna. He was a sharp-dressed man, taking pride in his appearance. He was funny, enjoyed a nice glass of wine or a shot of brandy. A private family visitation and service was held at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls on Saturday April 6, 2024 and the Rite of Entombment followed at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Umberto, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara Health Foundation (Walker Family Cancer Center) and would be appreciated by his family.
