Veda Maria Jamestee (Delduca)

JAMESTEE, Veda Maria (Delduca) - Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday October 24, 2013 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Frank Jamestee (1993). Veda was the cherished mother of Anthony & and his wife Carole. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren David (Barb) Jamestee and Karen Viersen as well as her great grandchildren, Sarah and Joanne Jamestee, and Trevor and Kristen Viersen. She will be greatly missed by her sister Catharine "Kitty" Decicco (the late Carl) as well as many much-loved nieces and nephews. Veda loved having her "special" niece Theresa Priddle comfort her as a live in caregiver during her brief illness. Veda was predeceased by her parents , Maria Felicia and Pasquale Delduca , her sisters Antoinette Compisano (Dominic), Angela Farrington (Gordon), Elsie Payson (Don), Rose Vendramin (Gino), Maria and Esterina, her brothers Tony (Lucy), Angelo, Myer (Louise), Gerardo and Pasquale Jr. She was also predeceased by Joe (Mary) Jamesty, Lena (Frank) Borse. Jennie (Nick) Schiro, Marion (Paul) Allen, and Ernest (Mary) Jamesty. Veda was employed for many years in Niagara Falls at Harper Method Beauty Products and at Renown Printing and was a devoted member of the Ascot Woods Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. She will long be remembered for her great sense of humour. The family will receive friends at the Patterson Funeral Home 6062 Main Street Niagara Falls on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Veda donations to the Greater Niagara General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
