Wendy Calder

passed away on January 20, 2018 at the age of 80 from cancer. Wife of John for 59 years, mother of Pastor Laurie (Rod) Ricker & Jay (Sandy) Calder. Grandmother to Ben (Kendel) Ricker, Stephanie (Tim) Clayton, John (Brittany) Ricker, Jennifer (Phil) Kropf, Jessica (Sean) McGuire, Melissa (Justin) Cole, Sarah Ricker, Anna Ricker, Jesse Calder & Luke Ricker. She was called Grandma Wendy by her 10 great-grandchildren, Norah, Hannah, Aderyn, Hope, Chase, Brandt, Grace, Ellie, Wesley & Matthew. Wendy was born on March 9, 1937 to Theodore & Ora (Hall) Lambert. Wendy loved her family and they all loved her for her quick smile, her interest in their lives and her faithfulness to God.

At Wendy’s request, there will be no visitation and a simple service at St. Patrick Church, 4673 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls on Thursday, January 25th at 11 am. There will be a light lunch in the church hall after the service. Interment to follow at 2 pm at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Ave. Wendy walked and talked with Jesus and passed on His love to many. She still does. Love never fails.
