William 'Bill' Ritchie

RITCHIE, William 'Bill' - Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday February 13, 2018 at the age of 84.  Beloved husband of 61 years to Joan (Menzies) Ritchie.  Beloved father of the late Duncan Ritchie (2015).  Dear nephew of Joe and Betty Hennessy and cousin of Lorraine (Rob) and Graeme (Christine) Hennessy.  Bill was an avid lawn bowler for over 25 years, traveling throughout Ontario to participate in various tournaments.  In his younger years Bill was an active golfer and he also played semi-pro soccer in Scotland.  At Bill's request cremation has taken place.  A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at 11 am at Southminster United Church, 6801 Hagar Avenue, Niagara Falls.  In memory of Bill donations to Southminster United Church would be appreciated by his family.  Arrangements entrusted to PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St.  Online condolences at www.pattersonfuneralhome.com
