William "Bill" Frank Nixon

It is with a very heavy heart that on Wednesday September 3, 2025 at the age of 84, William Frank Nixon passed away- with the love and support of his 2 daughters. Bill, as he was fondly known as, was born on May 15, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years Audrey (nee Harnden) Nixon, his daughters Lisa (Neil) Jones, and Nancy (Michael) Clayton. He was a proud grandpa to Nathan, Megan, Emily and Cameron. Great-grandpa to Aryah. Bill was a dear brother to Patricia, Sheila and Peter. Predeceased by his parents Patrick Edward and Eleanor May (nee Noble) and his youngest brother George Robert. Bill enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing were his favourite pastimes. He also enjoyed the Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning "Coffee Club" at his residence with friends.

Bill was just a "great guy" with a good sense of humour and heart!

He will be deeply missed missed by his family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday September 19th, 2025 from 10:00am -11:00am. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00am and interment following at Stamford Presbyterian Cemetery in Niagara Falls.

The family would like to thank the Oxford VON Association and Woodstock General Hospital and a huge thanks to St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener and especially the kind and compassionate staff on the CCU floor, 3 East and the ICU department for taking such good care of Bill in his final days. His passing will leave a hole in our hearts and he will be forever missed.
