Yvonne Marie Schmidhuber (LaPorte)

SCHMIDHUBER, Yvonne Marie (LaPorte) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday March 31, 2016 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 81 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Frank Schmidhuber (2006). Loving mother of Glenda (James) Black of St. Catharines and Ida (Allen) Bateman of Niagara Falls. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Drew) Galina of Whitby, Heather (Bob) Clemens of Bailieboro, Alisha, Brittney and Caitlyn Bateman of Niagara Falls. Dear great grandmother of Nora, Olivia, Adley and Anna. She is survived by her sister Jacqueline (the late Robert) Peeken of Timmins and her brother Jerry LaPorte of Ottawa. Predeceased by her sisters Teresa Longpre, Jeanette Sather, Rita Lavoie, Florence LaPorte, and her brothers Rolland LaPorte and Bobby LaPorte. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday April 9th, 11 am to 1 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at 1 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
