My fondest memory of Zach is how he was there for his Uncle Paul.  One day during Paul's illness at home Zach thought his Uncle Paul would like to get out of bed and sit in a lounge chair.  Zach picked him up and placed him in the chair.  Zach left right afterwards and 10 minutes later I had to call Zach on his cel to tell him that Uncle Paul had slipped out of the chair and was on the floor.  Zach came right away, picked up his Uncle Paul like a baby and gently placed him back in bed.  My memory of Zach will be of a man not only strong in body, but also strong of heart.

I am so sorry I didn't make more of an effort to stay in touch with you and Sylvia. It is easy to take these kinds of things for granted. But that should never be an excuse.The two of you are among my oldest friends. Just a few of my longest standing friendships. I have so many fond memories of you both. Sylvia,  After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us.   My sympathy goes out to you and your family.

My deepest sympathies for your loss Sylvia and family. You could see Zach's love for you and the girls shining out of him with every FB post and photo about you guys.       I always got such a pleasant surprise to see photos since I will always picture him as he was in Grade 2 when he was my best friend for awhile, listening to my Mickey Mouse Disco album.  It was always nice to see him so happy.    Many hugs to you all.

I haven't seen Zach since  '99, but my memories are always of a sweet natured quiet boy. My heart breaks for you all. I will keep you in my heart and pray your pain will lessen with time. All my love Janice, Aunt Lois and family
