JR was a proud member of the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. JR loved animals and spent most of his career as a veterinary technician at Midtown Animal Clinic in Davis, Calif. He was an avid runner and biker, completing in multiple marathons and triathlons.
JR is survived by his wife Anne and their children, Sara and Anthony. He is also survived by his grandson Sebastian; daughter-in-law Hailie; mother Benita; and sister Mary Lou.
