New London- Ann Wilson 91 of Crescent Beach, Niantic passes away peacefully January 15th at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. She was born May 3, 1925 in Old Lyme, to Lenoard Stanton and Jessie Irene Sykes. She was the eldest daughter of 9 siblings. Ann worked many jobs including the munitions factory on Pequot Avenue during World War II where she met the love her life Frank David Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and son David Lee Wilson. Ann is survived ber her daughter Terry and husband Frank Hoagland, 2 sons Gregory Hoagland and wife Sofi and Jason Hoagland and wife Allison, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She live a life devoted to those she loved. She was a wonderful baker and a very giving person. She loved all animals especially her cats. In her later years she devoted her time as a caregiver to people she knew and adored. She will be sadley missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Friends of Feral Felines C/O Niantic Animal Hospital or Visiting Nurse Association of South Eastern CT 403 North Frontage Road Waterford CT.

Calling Hours will be held Friday January 27th from 6-8 PM at Fulton Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave, Niantic CT. A graveside service will be held at Point-O-Woods Cemetery, 12 Connecticut Rd., Old Lyme at 11:30 AM January 28th. We are so sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She was a wonderful friend to our Grandmother and Mom. She attended many of our functions and really became part of our family. We will miss her dearly.
