Henny was quite a lady! I was heartbroken to hear of her passing. We worked together in Personnel at the Subase for many years. As a newly married Navy wife, first time away from home, she was my "mom away from home". Frequently, she would hitch a ride with me back to NH where she would visit Jack and Doris! We had some great conversations. She continued to stay in touch with me after I moved to Maine. A great person with charm and wit. My condolences go out to Deb, Kim and Carole.

I worked at L&M hospital when Hennie volunteered. She had a way of making you feel special and always had a smile and a kind word. Heaven got one of its own back. The world is a little less bright without her in it. Heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends....

Kim & Debbie, my heartfelt condolences. Having known your mother most of my life (and yours) I remember a loving and caring woman who treated everyone kindly. Her loss is a loss to all of us.

Jessica & Jennifer, it is obvious from your eulogy that you truly loved your grand-mother, as I know she loved you. Your eulogy was beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with those of us present.

May God bless and comfort you all in your loss.

So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I always remember her beautiful smile. I worked with her at the Sub Base many years ago. My Mom (Rose Betts) always enjoyed visiting with her at family gatherings. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with "Hennie" at the Subase many years ago. She was a role model, but more than that, she was a kind and caring person. My thoughts are with the family at this time.
