John grew up in Holyoke, Mass., but spent his summers in Niantic. John was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College, where he earned high honors, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid reader and relished sharing his thoughts and ideas that he gathered. John also enjoyed cooking and traveling. His true passion, however, was music and he became an accomplished self-taught guitarist.
He is survived by his mother Patricia Trigiani; stepfather Jack Trigiani, both of Niantic; sister Amanda Lewis of San Diego, Calif.; nephew Hunter Lewis of Warrensburg, Mo.; father John Czelusniak; and stepmother Trish Czelusniak, both of Niantic; and numerous cousins.
