Joyce was a beautiful woman who enjoyed reading anything and everything but mostly mystery novels and celebrity gossip magazines. She enjoyed her afternoon tea with a sweet treat. She could talk to you about any subject matter. She was very intelligent and intuitive; she could remember the small details about anyone letting them know she cared.
One of her favorite things to do was to cook spaghetti and meatballs for her family.
She was quite proud of her children and grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with them. A true Bostonian through and through, so proud of her home state, Massachusetts – within a moment of meeting her she would let you know where she was from and remind you repeatedly just in case you forgot. A wonderful sense of humor and a giggle and laugh like no other that will be so missed.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20th from 5-7pm at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT.
