Mary Miklojcik

peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Niantic.

Mrs. Miklojcik was born on July 14, 1916 in Colchester, the daughter of

Peter and Josephine Bass, both of whom had immigrated from Poland near the

turn of the century. She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Joseph

F. Miklojcik who died in 2007.

Mrs. Miklojcik is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Powers of Colchester

and Barbara McCredie of Niantic, her two sons Joseph Miklojcik Jr. and wife

Donna of Aruba and Jacob Miklojcik and wife Elva of Michigan, seven

grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was a communicant at St Agnes Church in Niantic, a former member of the

East Lyme Senior Citizens, a social member of the National Association of

Federal Employees, and worked in the garment industry for many years.

A procession will assemble at 9:00 am on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in

Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357 for a Mass of

Christian Burial in St. Francis Chapel, 2 Central Ave., Niantic at 10:00am.
